watercolor yellow butterfly on zinnias paint along demo tutorial

Hello all my friends, thank you for being here. I am so grateful for your support and painting along. This is the last one of our butterfly for this year. We have more fun paintings coming up. So have fun with all these butterflies and you can frame them up into a set of three if you like. I hope you guys have a fun summer. Now everyone is back to school and maybe have some time to paint during the day. I had so much fun when the children were young and at school. Also lots of fun going out hiking and looking for beautiful things around us. Autumn is coming soon, are we so excited about going out to do some hiking or just sit outside to feel and take in all those cool air. We took a little trip to New Mexico to meet up with my oldest daughter to have some fun with grandkids. We had a little cabin in the wood and got to look at stars at night. Go on some hikes and went fishing too. My daughter and I love eating fresh trout from the pond, they taste so smooth and good. We just went back to the cabin and steam the fish up. We used to take them to the same pond when they were young. During hiking we saw a lot of fossils. NM is also magical like Yellowstone to us. We love nature and love being with each other. Grandkids are very delightful. They were sick but we didn’t get the illness. We took our little RV down and slept in the cool crisp night air. It is always a good time. We saw so many mushrooms different variety in the woods too. Saw some very happy cows in the meadows and beautiful scenery.

I love Zinnis, always do. When I saw some pics with insipirations I quickly get to work. It is very easy to follow along and I hope you have fun too. Some of you hopefully have been painting with me for a while now. I hope the control of watercolor is coming easier. And correcting mistakes is the process. I would love to hear how you feel. Able to put in years of work while having fun is very nice.
